The Changemakers Campaign aims to identify and empower young leaders in Azerbaijan to create a positive impact in their communities. In collaboration with the Qizlar Oxusun initiative, this project aims to empower young individuals between the ages of 22 and 35 throughout Azerbaijan by offering them the opportunity to enhance their skills and knowledge in community building, while also implementing social projects in their respective regions, with a specific focus on education.

Objectives:

• Identify and support passionate young leaders who are committed to making a positive change in their communities.
• Provide training and resources to develop their skills in community building and project management.
• Encourage innovative and sustainable social projects across Azerbaijan.
• Foster partnerships and collaborations between young leaders and key stakeholders in their communities

We have launched a call for applications across Azerbaijan, inviting young leaders aged 22-35 to submit their project ideas focused on creating a positive impact in their communities.

A training program will be organized for the selected applicants. The training will focus on community building, project management, budgeting, fundraising, and sustainability. The training program will be conducted by experienced trainers and experts in community development for 35 applicants.

The project proposals will be reviewed by a committee comprising members of Lumun Holding, USAID, and independent experts. The committee will evaluate the project proposals based on their innovation, feasibility, impact, and sustainability.

The top 14 shortlisted candidates will be selected based on the scores given by the review committee. The 7 finalists will receive support from the program team to implement their social projects in their respective regions. They will receive ongoing support from the program team to ensure the successful implementation of their projects.

We believe that this project will foster partnerships and collaborations between young leaders and key stakeholders in their communities and contribute to the sustainable development of Azerbaijan in the long term.
